Account deletion

You can delete your Finansel: Budget Management account and all associated data in two ways:

1. In the app (recommended — immediate)

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. In the Danger Zone section at the bottom, tap "Delete My Account Permanently".
  4. Verify your identity (password or Google verification).
  5. Once confirmed, your account and all data are permanently deleted.

2. By e-mail request

If you no longer have access to the app, send an e-mail titled "Account Deletion Request" from your registered e-mail address to:

finansel.support@gmail.com

Requests are completed within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Account deletion irreversibly removes:

  • Your sign-in account (e-mail / Google)
  • All income and expense records
  • Your categories, budgets, savings goals, and recurring entries
  • All app data stored in the cloud

No personal data is retained after deletion. Only anonymous crash/diagnostic logs (containing no personal identity) may remain for the Firebase Crashlytics retention period (90 days).
